Happy New Year to you all....Family and friends, both new and old!

Here we are on the first day of 2013.  I heard it mentioned on one of the channels I was watching last night that this year being the 13th year is considered by some to be bad luck.  They even placed lucky charms, rabbit foots and such, on the ball drop. I think this was the NY Times Square ball drop.  So silly as each new year is what we make it to be, no superstitious mumbo jumbo is going to get me down this year..

I am looking forward to a new year of love and laughter, good health and cheer.  I weigh more that I wanted to on this date but, this is an old pattern with me, and as long as I am healthy I am prepared to accept myself as I am.  I will however endeaver to get back into the gym again this month as it is good for my arthrisit and my new bionic knee. I  don't want it to stiffen up on me.
Sadly I must admit in years past I have made grand new years resolutions and sadly never kept any of them going.  So this year...No New Years resolutions from me.  I will just be as happy and as healthy as is possible for me this year.

I spent a quiet Dec. 31st with my hubby watching movies and I beat his butt at Yahtzee.  Woo Hoo!  That seldom ever happens. :) And this old couple stayed awake clear past 1:00 AM CST.  Not a usual occurance for us at all.  It snowed on the last day of 2012 and my world is blanketed in a soft coat of snowy white.  I love the snow on the trees.

How about you? How did you spend your New Years Eve?
Do you have trouble keeping new years resolutions?
Have you made one for 2013?

Be Happy, Be Healthy and Be Safe,
