Sanitizing The After COVID Way

 Good Sunday All,

Today was my first Sunday physically in church since 3 weeks past. I wore my mask the whole service and no hugs but a few fist bumps. It was so good to be in the pew and not just watching from home. I love the sound of the big organ pipes.

My granddaughter and I have been cleaning and disinfecting off and on for 3 days now as we both got the NEGATIVE test result Friday. We've noticed we still tire easily so decided to keep track of what we've cleaned and give ourselves time to get it done. We've cleaned all of the usual things such as sweeping, mopping and vaccuming the floors (even though they were just done recently), microwave inside and out, cleaning toilet and sinks in bathroom and kitchen, cleaning stove and counter tops, thorougly cleaning cat food dishes and kitty litter area, wiping down the refrigerator and freezer doors inside and out, etc. Then we sat and thought about the everyday things we touch automatically and don't really think about. The disinfecting cleaning wipes came out and we cleaned:

light switches, door nobs (inside and out) including cabinets in kitchen and bathroom,  dresser drawer pulls, cell phones and chargers, all tv and Roku remotes, portable speaker and charger cord, wiped down all of the shampoo, conditioner, bath wash and perfume bottles, double wiped down the sink faucets, kitchen table was decluttered and completely wiped down, blankets and pillows washed, sheets changed, lamp switches wiped down, tooth brushes in the trash and new ones out, vaccum cleaner handle and broom and mop handles. I still wonder did we forget anything?

Oh the car, I have a steering wheel cover, it was removed and the steering wheel and column completely wiped down and a new cover purchased and placed on. Let me tell you those things are hard to put on, it took both of us and about 10 minutes sitting in Walmart parking lot pushing and pulling but we got it on. I've sprayed disinfectant in there. We plan to thoroughly vaccum the inside of the van and clean all door handles, windows, radio buttons, etc. It'll get done tomorrow for sure. We tuckered out today.

So there you have it, sanitizing after COVID. Please be careful when wiping down anything electrical.  And if you think of something I may have missed please let me know.

Untill next post,

Be Happy, Be Healthy and Be Safe,

Teresa aka Tess
